Sapphire Valley Resort / Ski Sapphire Update

UPDATE: The Learning Slope and Main Slope are open Dec 21!! Tube Park is closed.

Winter weather with very cold temperatures returns Friday, December 20! Temps will drop into the 20’s at night from now until Monday. This will give the snow making crew plenty of time to blow snow at Ski Sapphire Valley. How much depends on the wind and humidity.

The cold temperatures will squeeze some moisture out of the air and some snow flurries area possible without any real accumulation. Stay tuned!

Ski Sapphire Valley was unable to open the Tube Park nor the Main Slope today Dec 14th. The Learning Slope was open.

The weather forecast is not favorable with rain moving in tonight, the 14th  and warmer weather through Thursday December 19th.  The next snowmaking opportunity appears to be Thursday night as temps will dip into the 20’s for several days! Skiing over Christmas, currently, looks very good!
