Get ready for the winter sports event of the season – Ski Sapphire Valley’s famous Great Outhouse Races!
This annual tradition combines creativity and competition as teams race down the slopes in uniquely decorated outhouses mounted on skis.

NEWS! This year there will be a $5 admission fee as well as a $5 guided parking fee! Outhouse Race entry fees and food and beverage net proceeds donated to the Rotary Club of Cashiers Valley to help local charities and provide Hurricane Helene relief aid.
Each team typically consists of three members: one person rides in the outhouse "throne," while the others provide the starting grunt or push to propel it across the finish line.
